Sunlight, gas and electricity provide our nursery with energy. One of the conditions for the selection of a new plant variety is that it must need minimal energy to grow. We keep our greenhouses frost-proof during the winter. The plants are comfortable with these low, natural temperatures and in the spring they grow with the light as it were. We do not use artificial light to stimulate plant growth.
